Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon, who is in Armenia on an official visit, has met with Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan for a working dinner to discuss future cooperation efforts.

According to an official statement by the Government's press service, the two officials dicussed particularly plans for developing and expanding bilateral relations.

They both agreed that the governments should step up efforts towards making the partnership more active, increasing the trade turnover and implementing different joint programs.

They also highlighted the importance of the Armenian-Tajik business forum in Yerevan, expressing a firm belief that it will make the bilateral business ties more active.
